Hello 6th graders!

Welcome to The Cay-Letter Exchange Blog. As we read the book The Cay, by Theodore Taylor, we will be studying the literary concept - point of view. Here you will use your knowledge & skills of letter writing and point of view to write letters to another 6th grade student in the point of view of your assigned character (Phillip or Timothy). This is an independent assignment, which means you will not be given much class time to complete your assigned letters. Instead you will have to use extra class worktime, enrichment time, or study hall time to finish the letter exchanges by April 30th.
